Players' Code of Conduct

1. Play for the "fun of it".
2. Learn and adhere to the laws of the game at all times.
3. Accept the referee's decisions.
4. Control your temper - you and your team will benefit.
5. Treat all players as you would like to be treated.
6. Co-operate with your coach, referee, team-mates and opponents. Without them you do not have a game.
7. Work hard for yourself and your team.
8. Enjoy the "beautiful game".


Coaches' code of conduct

1. Be realistic in your demands on young players.
2. Teach and enforce the laws of the game at all times.
3. All players need and deserve reasonable match time and rest.
4. Remember that children play for the FUN and enjoyment and that winning is only part of it.
5. Never ridicule or yell at the children for making mistakes or losing a game. Encouragement is paramount.
6. Ensure that equipment and facilities are safe and appropriate to the age and ability of the players.
7. Respect the ability of opponents and the judgement of officials and opposing coaches.
8. Be generous with your praise when it is deserved.
9. Improve your players through creative and effective coaching.
10. Keep yourself up to date on coaching qualifications, training and developments.
11. Inspire and enthuse about the game of football.


Parents' and Spectators' Code of Conduct

1. Enjoy watching your child play football.
2. Let the players play the game
3. Educate your child to play to the laws of the game.
4. Promote the value of coaching and development.
5. Acknowledge the value and importance of volunteer coaches and referees. They give their time freely to provide for your children.
6. Co-operate with the coaches and referee.
7. Recognise that children play football for fun.
8. Children will learn by their mistakes, support them do not ridicule them.
9. Applaud and enjoy good play by both teams.
10. Winning and losing is part of the game. Support children on learning to do both.
11. Do not criticize your own or opposing players.
12. Do not tolerate bad behaviour and bad language. Your child loves football - do not spoil it.
13. Take any concerns you have through the appropriate channels (e.g. Team Manager , Club Committee or Child Protection Officer).
