Calverley United JFC Under 11's | |

Calverley United Under 9's have a great 2006/07 season finnishing runners up in the league. Out of a possible 108 points we achived 84 points winning 25 games drawing 3 and loosing 6. We scored a total of 127 goals and conceded 37 (the lowest in division 1) which gave us a goal difference of 90. Well done to all the U9 players and a big thank you for all the effort they have put in over the last 8 months. They have worked extremely hard and showed great keenness and certainly deserve a lot of praise. Of course we should not forget all the parents who gave their full support during the season which has been very much appreciated. Special thanks go to Pete, Dave and Angie for their early morning starts setting up the nets and also to Gareth and John for being referees during the season. Also a big thank you to the tuck shop team for their help in doing a great job and to Mark for all his efforts as team coach. Last but by no means least, Kath has done a great job as team secretary during the season which has been much appreciated and I would like to thank her for her support. Looking forward to a challenging 2007/08 season as the under 10's, Mick (Manager)
